One season down, many to go

Had another soccer game tonight. It was the semifinals in our division. Yeah, yeah, I know it’s silly to have playoffs in a recreational league, so shut it. We lost, but I scored a goal. I would have traded scoring the goal for a win, but oh well.
That makes six or seven goals for me for the season, which is a surprise for me because I’m not really a goal-scorer. I was always more of the enforcer type. 
The new season starts next Tuesday, so no rest for the weary. Still, it feels great to be so active again, even if I huff and puff like a smoker five minutes into the game.
