A Real Update

It’s been far too long since a real update. This is what has been going on:
1) Went to Boston for Prisco’s graduation. That was, by far, the most fun I’ve had in ages. Lots of drinking, eating, and having a good time with good friends. Sadly, times like those are few and far between now that we all live fairly far apart from each other.
2) Shoulder is doing well. I still have one spot where I consistently get pain, but other than that I’m way ahead of schedule. I’m playing softball and volleyball and it’s not too sore afterwards, so I’m happy about that.
3) Working far too much. I have a project going out at the end of the month, and it’s been crunch time on it. Too many hours at the office, not enough spent in bed.
4) Saw Better Than Ezra Friday night at the Fairfax fair. They were pretty good, until the encore when the audio was really distorted. Also saw Mo there, whom I hadn’t seen in ages, so that was cool.
5) At the softball game on Friday, I collided with someone at second base and now my neck is all fucked up. I’ve been taking my Vicodin left over from shoulder surgery, and that helps a little bit, but it’s still pretty painful.
Talking to Michelle today was nice, too. Sometimes I forget how nice it is to hear her voice.
Off to watch some TV with Marci. Don’t forget to watch Family Guy tonight!
