I had to do it.
Apple just introduced new versions of the iPod mini and iPod photos. New 60GB iPod photo is $450 (down from $600), but lacks the included accessories of its predecessor (dock, AV cable, firewire cable). The Apple store is clearing out the old 60GB version (with the accessories) for $480. The dock alone costs $40. That’s a steal at $480.
It was too good of a deal to pass up.
I bought one.
How I’m going to afford it, I don’t know. But I couldn’t help myself. My higher brain functions had a momentary loss of control. Something overrode their powers and caused me to buy the iPod photo.
Yeah, that’s it.
So now I guess I’m officially trendy.
And I no longer need my cut-out iPod in order to fit in.
