I used to sit next to you in school

Last night we had a softball game. We played horribly. I played horribly. I stunk so bad I probably still stink while I sit in my cube and I’m offending my fellow co-workers who refuse to say anything about the stinkiness because our culture represses people from expressing personal outrage face-to-face.

I made four errors last night. FOUR FUCKING ERRORS while playing SS. The team made about 15. Needless to say, the other team took us over their knee and made us their bitch. At least I hit well, scoring two runs. It’s funny, because prior to this game, I was playing really well in the field but not hitting very well, which is the opposite of when I played baseball in school. I was a really good hitter, but mediocre in the field. I would make the spectacular play, but not the routine plays. I think my hurt shoulder (more on that when I actually go to the doctor sometime in the near future) is affecting my swing and that’s the reason behind my anemic hitting. Usually I’ve been flying out to the OF instead of spraying line drives like I used to, which is frustrating. Oh well, nothing to do except follow the other team home and burn down their houses. All of them.
